Dear Judo
Family and Friends,Unit Judo Trisakti is extending a cordial invitation to all Judoka's artists to the 5th Trisakti Open Judo Championship on June 18th - 19th , 2011 in Pluit Village Mal, North Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Championship will be a great opportunity for all students (junior and Senior High School Including University Student) of the Judo in Indonesia or South East Asia (and maybe europe), in a friendly and competitive environment. Judo is the fastest growing martial art in the world and our mission is to promote and socialize Judo in Indonesia. The sport is highly competitive with the athlete demonstrating his techniques, abilities, and physical and psychological condition. Competitions are the lifeline of the sport and are the most important aspect for all those directly or indirectly involved. However, victory is not granted at any cost; fair-play is always the main guideline. Ethical behavior is what gives this sport credibility and security, which are indispensable factors in any sport. Through high standards of behavior, the sport has reached spectacular heights elsewhere in the world.
Therefore, because Judo has become part of the greatest sporting show on earth, the Olympics, we need to promote Judo now as a sport for Indonesia Student. With these thoughts in mind, we hope that you will come and support the 5th Trisakti Open Judo Championship 2011
